Fall 2026 – Caring for the Caregiver, Sutton, QC
CARING FOR THE CAREGIVER
You care for others, who cares for you?
Even the strongest caregivers need a safe, welcoming space to rest, recharge, and connect with others who truly understand.
Caring for the Caregiver is a workshop designed to help caregivers better manage the stressors of caregiving, through a specific therapeutic approach, called Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps us struggle less with difficult things and connect with what is most important, in a way that is loving and respectful. ACT does not attempt to directly change or stop unwanted thoughts or feelings. Rather, ACT encourages developing a new mindful relationship with experiences that can help us feel free, open, and able to take action consistent with what we care about most.
